Join the PTA!
We encourage all of our families to join the PTA to support our school.
YOU GIVE ~ WE GIVE
Each year, become an advocate for your child through the PTA.
YOU GIVE ~
Every school year we collect $5/$10 in membership, but these dollars do not equal what we give … In fact, this covers less than half of one of our school assemblies!
WE GIVE ~
For all of the events and support over the year, we need each family to sell/buy 3 Fundraiser Donation Tickets. If we could reach that simple goal, we would achieve our financial goals to provide:
Six forms of communication - Social Media, e-blasts, text messages
Parties, social events
School assemblies, field trips
Community and family recognition - Vet’s, Grands, etc.
And much more!
Please consider joining our PTA by completing this form. Forms and payments can be dropped off during Parent Orientation in the MPR.

Open PTA Positions for 2019-2020
There a number of committee and leadership roles that remain open for this year. Please consider volunteering; many hands make light work! Find a friend and job-share! If insufficient volunteers are identified, some programs may need to be eliminated. If you have any questions or are interested in helping out please contact Christine Love (email@example.com) or Monique Robbins (firstname.lastname@example.org).
All School Party Committee: This five person committee will plan the following CRS parties: Beginning of Year Picnic, Halloween Party, Veterans Day Breakfast and Ceremony, Ice Skating Party, and End of Year Picnic. The committee is welcome to suggest recommendations for new or different parties. Need two more members for 2019-2020!
Buzz Book: The Buzz Book is an electronically PTA produced directory, sent via PDF to PTA members. The Buzz Book is derived from files provided by the membership chair. This is a one time commitment that can be done from home. Great for working parents!
Club and Events Committee: This two person committee will work with external companies to facilitate the following clubs and events: Language Club, Chess Club, Tae Kwon Do Club, Jarosch cake decorating event, Thrown Elements event, and Paint Nite event. They will be responsible for advertising, maintaining list of attendees, collecting fees, and working with the Treasurer to pay the company. The committee is not responsible for running or attending the events.
Community Service Chair: Focuses on ways for the students and families of Central Road to give back to the community. Responsible for running the CRS portion of the D15 Clothing Closet and coordinating the five helpers needed each week for Blessings in a Backpack.
Copies Chair: The Copies Chair is responsible for coordinating copies for all PTA handouts. He/She will receive files, create PDF, get PDF signed by President and Principals, and send PDF to Reprographics, all via email. The chair will then pick up copies at D15 district office and deliver to the school for distribution by the document owner.
Fun Fair Committee: This six person committee is responsible for planning the Fun Fair (usually held in April) and soliciting volunteers to execute the event. Need two more members for 2019-2020!
